One Platform Powers All Processes
All three refining streams — lithium, nickel MHP, and black mass — are handled by the identical Nano Beads™ platform and Multi-Scale Refining Units (MSRUs) that will drive our Clean Process refinery in Florida. Each compact MSRU (approximately 160 sq ft) processes roughly 1 tonne per day per metal, allowing modular, scalable deployment from pilot testing to full commercial volumes.

We transform low-grade or crude lithium solutions (typically containing 3% or more lithium) directly into high-purity battery-grade lithium compounds such as lithium chloride (LiCl), lithium sulfate (Li₂SO₄), or lithium hydroxide (LiOH). Our advanced filtration media selectively removes key impurities—including aluminum, boron, calcium, cobalt, copper, iron, potassium, magnesium, manganese, sodium, nickel, and zinc—in a rapid, single-pass, free-flow process. This eliminates traditional intermediate precipitation steps while achieving exceptional purity and recovery.

Our modular MSRUs refine nickel Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (MHP) into Class 1 battery-grade nickel products (sulfate, chloride, or hydroxide). Within the same system, cobalt is efficiently separated and refined into battery-grade cobalt compounds, while associated manganese streams are also recovered at high purity and high recovery rates.
